Catherine and James Wedding Photography at St Andrew’s Holy Cross Church, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire
Posted by george June 2011
Congratulations to Catherine and James who were married at St Andrew’s and Holy Cross Church in Much Hadham Hertfordshire, with their reception at a private family venue nearby at the village of Perry Green.
I met with Catherine and her family at the family home where preparations were well under way and everybody was excted and nervous. I met the boys at The Bull in a blustery Much Hadham where there was time for a few pictures before they set off for the church. The bride was right on time at the church and following the service the Bride and Groom hopped into a beautiful Rolls Royce for the short journey to the recpetion. After drinks and canopes we arranged a confetti line for the couple, before shooting some formal group pictures in the gardens. The speeches and cake cutting followed the wedding breakfast before the disco dancing got off to great start with both families joining the couple on the dancefloor!
Congratulations to Catherine and James and their families, and thank you to them for making us very welcome. If you were a guest at their wedding the images are available to view online. Please email me for further details. Much Hadham has spectacular church, which is well looked after with a very active local congregation. It’s a great venue for wedding photography and I really enjoyed working there.

Congratulations to Crystal and Richard who were married and had their reception at the Grange Hotel in Bury St Edmunds.
We met up with the Crystal and her daughter Felicity and bridesmaids at the Grange Hotel to begin preparation pictures, before catching up with Richard and his best man. The ceremony was fantastic, and the beautiful floral arch and decorations looked stunning. After the bride and groom were married we headed off into the large garden for refreshments and pictures before the guests were seated for the speeches and wedding breakfast. After the wedding breakfast there was time for some of the younger members of the wedding party to play around whilst the adults enjoyed a few cool drinks before the evening’s entertainment began.
Congratulations to Crystal and Richard and their families, and thank you to them for making us very welcome. If you were a guest at their wedding the images are available to view online. Please email me for further details. The Grange Hotel is a great venue with lots of excellent places for really brilliant photography.

Helen and John’s Wedding Photography at St. Andrew’s Church and the White Hart Hotel in Great Yeldham Essex.

Congratulations to Helen and John who were married on Saturday 19th February 2011 at St Andrew’s Church in Great Yeldham Essex followed buy their Wedding Reception at the White Hart Hotel also in Great Yeldham, Essex.
Well it was a rainy and cold day to kick off the 2011 season, however that did not dampen the spirits of the newlywed couple, or their guests! I met Groom John and his Best Man Ben and guests at the Waggon & Horses in Yeldham before the ceremony. A few winter warmers later, and everyone headed off to a chilly St Andrew’s Church to wait for Helen and her Father to arrive; umbrellas at the ready! Helen and John had a fantastic service and the Bride and Groom gave me some fabulous picture opportunities inside the church. I enjoyed shooting at St Andrew’s, a nice intimate church, although in February not the brightest! Still with the aid of a long lens and a steady hand I managed to capture some terrific pictures. After a few bum notes on the organ and lots of laughter, it was confetti at the ready as the couple headed off to the White hart for some well earned refreshments and warmth!
Congratulations to John and Helen and their families, and thank you to them for making me very welcome. If you were a guest at their wedding the images are available to view online. Please email me for further details.

Christine and Ivan’s Wedding at St Nicholas Hospice Bury St Edmunds
Posted by admin November 2010
Congratulations to Christine and Ivan who were married at St Nicholas Hospice in Bury St Edmunds.
This is one of the more unusual weddings that I have ever photographed. Obviously because it was at a Hospice, but nevertheless I had a fantastic day with the couple who married after spending many years together and finally decided to tie the knot. Sadly, Ivan is terminally ill, but it did not stop what was a memorable day. The photographs also appeared as a feature in a local newspaper, which was the couples wish, to publicise all the terrific work that St Nicholas Hospice does making people’s lives more comfortable living with terminal illness. Naturally our thoughts are with Ivan and Chris and very big thank you to the all the staff at the Hospice for making their day extremely special. The day was beautifully arranged and the couple were just magic to work with. These images has been drastically reduced in quality for web publishing. All pictures © George Impey Photography

BBC’s Look East presenter Jenny Kirk and her bridegroom Charlie married at Brandeston in Suffolk.

Congratulations to Jenny and Charlie who were married at All Saints Church in Brandeston Suffolk.
I’m getting bored of talking about the fantastic weather we’ve had for summer 2010, but is was another beautiful day in Suffolk and by the far the hottest day yet! I met up with Charlie at the church before the ceremony for a few portraits and then waited for Jenny to arrive. Jenny looked absolutely stunning and arrived at the church with her father to give her away.
After the ceremony I had a little while with Jenny and Charlie to shoot some portraits before everybody enjoyed nibbles and champagne in the grounds of the spectacular venue. Thanks so much to Jenny and Charlie for a wonderful afternoon and thank you also to her family and guests who went out of their way to help with the organisation, and cooled us down with a few cold drinks! Here are few pictures of Jenny’s and Charlie’s big day.
